Sintering furnace

A sintering furnace is an oven type that makes things stronger. It is important to understand how the sintering process is carried out in furnaces, what types of materials are used, and how you can maintain your furnace. Let us get to know the sintering furnaces a little closer.

Sintering, then, is something like baking a cake, except you needn’t use flour and sugar; you can use special materials such as metals and ceramics, along with Nanjing Chishun's product laboratory muffle furnace. When these are heated in a sintering furnace, they readily stick to one another and become quite strong. This process is called sintering. It’s useful for producing things as diverse as car parts, electronics and, yes, jewelry.

The role of temperature and time in sintering furnaces

Temperature and time is the key in a sintering furnace, also the tube furnace built by Nanjing Chishun. You want the furnace to be hot enough so that it melts the materials just a bit and they will stick together. If the temperature is too little, the materials will fail to bond properly. The materials can become damaged if the temperature is too high. It’s a bit like cooking a pizza – you’ve got to get the temperature in the right spot.
