The working principle and structural features of the Multi-angle planetary ball mill

The multi-angle planetary ball mill is an efficient ultra-fine grinding equipment. Its core working principle is based on the combination of planetary motion and centrifugal force. During operation, when the large disc rotates (in orbit), the ball mill jar performs a rotational movement on its orbit. While the large disc and the ball mill tank are performing planetary motion, they can also perform a 360° flip-like rotation within a three-dimensional space and can be set to operate at any fixed position. This can solve the problems of material sinking and tank sticking. The grinding media (such as steel balls, agate balls - zircon balls, etc.) inside the tank are subjected to impact, compression, and grinding forces under the action of centrifugal force and friction, thereby achieving ultra-fine grinding and uniform mixing of the materials. It is mostly used for preparing nano materials, composite materials, ceramic powders, etc., such as the grinding and mixing of lithium battery electrode materials.
